The Curry College MS Computer Science program will empower students to apply principles of computer science, mathematics, algorithms, and software development to design, implement, test, and evaluate technology solutions using industry-standard programming practices, problem-solving methodologies, and algorithmic techniques in a variety of domains. In an era of unprecedented data availability and rapid technological advancement, our curriculum emphasizes the critical competency of analytics through hands-on, experiential learning, while collaborating with a diverse cohort of future leaders from around the world, engaging in real-world global case studies and projects that provide an international perspective. From the beginning of the program experiential learning and experiences are an integral part of the Experiential On-Campus MSCS. You'll master the skills to handle, analyze, and interpret data to drive strategic insights in a global context.

The Curry College Experiential on-Campus MS Computer Science is a STEM designated degree program.
The MS Computer Science coursework consists of 8-week sessions for a total of 30 credits including six hours of required experiential education.
Application for Admission and Enrollment
Curry accepts applications on a rolling basis. Admissions decisions are normally made within 3 to 5 business days of the receipt of all application materials.
Admission Requirements
• Earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a recommended 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Applicants earning a GPA of less than 2.75 on a 4.0 scale in their bachelor’s degree will be evaluated individually.
• Sealed official undergraduate transcript(s) and any graduate transcript(s) sent to Curry College directly from the academic institution(s)
• Personal essay (Optional)
• Resumé
Applicants who do not have a BS in CS or a related technical discipline, or a strong minor in CS or a related technical discipline, must complete proficiency tests in five areas to enter the program. If they do not pass the tests, they must complete the following “bridge” classes at Curry before beginning the MSCS.

MSCS Course Transfer Policy
At the discretion of the Director of Graduate Programs in Business, up to two courses may be considered for transfer into the program. Transfer credit will be evaluated for relevancy to the Master of Business Administration Program. Students must have received a grade of “B” or better. Once a student is matriculated at Curry College, no transfer credit will be allowed. To have coursework reviewed for transfer credit, students must submit all original syllabi and transcripts. All decisions are final.
Grades and Academic Standing
The minimum passing grade in each course is a B-. A grade of C+ or lower in any course is cause for academic review and necessitates repeating the course. Students must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 to remain in good academic standing.
Academic review will take place if the GPA falls below 3.0 or for an individual course grade of less than a B-. Students must also maintain a satisfactory rate of progress measured by cumulative attempted credits. A student is making satisfactory progress when at least 67% of attempted credits have been completed with a passing grade.
