Students will integrate the content of the cousrework for this certificate, applying their knowledge and skills, to develop specific plans at the local level to enhance public awareness and local security. Traditional students will analyze case studies or prepare local education initiatives, while law enforcement practitioners will identify local initiatives to harden security and contribute to community defense with specific projects identified jointly with the law enforcement community.
