CJ Resource Allocation

As public administrators and leaders constantly face the challenging environment of scarce resources, this course focuses on the allocation of human and fiscal resources, including human resource planning (hiring, promotion, training, and assignment), the legal rights and responsibilities of public employersand employees, ethical issues in human resource management, collective bargaining and impasse resolution, and related issues of budgeting and securing alternative fiscal resources such as grants.
