Intro to Computer Science

CS 1000 is an entry level course that introduces the scientificand engineering approach that applies computing technology tothe challenge of understanding and implementing the processof manipulating computing resources to produce, deliver,and expand service to society. It also introduces computerprogramming without employing any computer programminglangue syntax. Students will begin to learn how to thinkalgorithmically, employing critical thinking, to solve problemseffectively and efficiently. Students may or may not have previousexperience with computer programming. Finally, it overviews thehistory of automated computing including its diverse history.
