Acting for the Screen

Students learn the on-screen skills of film acting - for actors and directors. Participants will discover trade secrets and develop their talents as they are guided by a master acting and directing teacher. This course is segmented to give actors individualized direction and a unique acting experience. The first segment is an acting intensive which focuses on script analysis for character development, working on the subtext and motivation, managing emotional energy, and scene selection. The second segment focuses on a dramatic scene.
