Description

In this course, students will study the application of economicconcepts and tools to environmental issues. Basic economicprinciples will be used to analyze how natural resources are (orshould be) evaluated and managed. Contemporary environmentalproblems, such as climate change, sustainable developmentand transboundary pollution are discussed in the context ofthe economics concepts introduced in the course. Students willalso gain a deeper understanding of how human actions affectthe environment, and how individual incentives can be used toimprove environmental quality.Pre-Requisite: BUS 1611.
