Population genetics is a core discipline in human disease, genetics, evolutionary biology, conservation biology and in forensic science. This course provides the theoretical background and analytical tools needed to apply population genetics to understand how genetic variation is produced, maintained, and distributed within and among populations over time. Prerequisite: Any General Education Science Breadth and Quantitative Literacy Enhanced course.
